Fading Away
(2019)
A portrait repeated and transformed. The same figure — rendered first in soft, ethereal tones, then with greater presence and saturation — finally dissolves beneath layers of texture. Identity fragments under accumulated visual noise. What begins as a clear image of a person ends as a trace, barely distinguishable from the chaos surrounding it.
The series visualizes the central question of Gita's practice: what remains of the self when perception is overwhelmed?
